That Gordon Ramsey's show at 9pm did atrociously that not only was it beaten by Five but also ITV3 and Sky1! All this week we have seen all the shows on C4 getting 1-2m... the only hit of C4 since CBB finished was Mo (whoch got 3.5m i think).... but the previous ratings have been dreadful!

To think that last Friday we had 4.3m on average watching C4 at the time and a week later just 736,000... ouch :

ITV did bad for the 2 shows also, PTO is continuing o do badly, but rose about 200,000 not being up against BB. DOI Friday doing badly also,

Silent Witness is down by a fair amount also.

Looks like the multichannels did really well last night as the main channel ratings are very low.

Its probably a good thing, it'l make them think twice about axing CBB again if they do pick it up again. Or another channel will see the ratings difference and hopefully pick it up

Good, I hope this is what they get now from now on, and then come summer their ratings will improve when BB is on and they will feel like dicks for ever axing it.

They can shove Notting Hill and all these other new shows up their arse if no one watches C4 No one will see the adverts for them, at least when BB is on we see adverts for new shows.

If I didnt watch BB I would of never of heard of Ugly Betty or 8 out of 10 Cats which I love, so there going to be in alot of trouble without BB.

And I cant wait when Five do pick up BB and they get higher ratings than Channel 4.

c4 make/sponsor/are behind some good shows but cannot recognise commerce if it hit them in the face.

Ch4 has been in Big Debt since a Year ago,
they wanted to join with BBCAmerica
but there was to many problems.

Still on the table
they can join with Ch5
who are German owned in the most part.

I think a Ch4 /Ch5 Company
would do well
as they then can Promote more
and some of the Great Ch5 shown US 1080 HiDef shows
could be shown again on Ch4 HD.

CH5 HD is on the way - but taking time.

ITV1+1 was meant to start months ago
that has problems

Multi-channel TV makes ITV, C4, C5 a nonesense. I think the last time I tuned ITV was X Factor final bevause a friend had told me ro bet heavily on the winner.

Yes but ITV ,Ch4 ,Ch5
are part of the MulticCh.

And Most Important
ITV1HD is on Freesat.

Ch4HD is free on Sky & Virgin (if you pay for the box)

I've got a naughty box who's name I cannot even mention arista so the choice is 247 channels. I'm getting old so I can do with the lack of HD! My eyesight isn't too particular!

BB Hid channel still survives but unfortunately the transponder only ever sends "Test" instead of 24/7

Thats when HD clear vision is best.

Soon all good Channels will be in HD.

E4HD is now on sky.

VirginHD is under 10
SkyHD is over 40.

If you have A SkyHD Box
then they can not stop you having Free to Air HD
which at this time is Ch4HD and BBCHD.

FreesatHD
is better it goes onto the Sky Sat link
(No Fee's once Box is fitted , of course you can fit your own if able)
and has amazing amount of News Chs
of course Virgin - the worst . only has 4 news Chs.

I'll take your word for it - Eurovox seems fine to me and bugs the 'ell out of trickie dickie Branson I can honestly live for the Mo without Living HD or FX HD

"Living HD "

Is a Virgin Owned Channel only on Virgin
they should do a Trade with Sky
LivingHD for Sky1HD.

CSI in HD on Living HD is good.

If only Ch5HD was here sooner
as they also have the HiDef CSI.

According to my naughty box - tricky dicky only broadcasting ESPN, FX . Living. MTV and Nat Geo down the pipe HD where I live at the mo - I can live without that sugar. I'll miss SB tomorrow in HD but ain't got Sky anyway

arista
06-02-2010, 06:22 PM
Yes MTVN HD
ESPN HD, NatGeoHD, and FX HD (that one starts later in the day , though)
and Ch4HD and BBCHD

BBCHD is the worst
as it does not show Movies in HD 'enough.'

ITV1HD and Ch4 HD
show HD Movies every Week
sometimes twice a day or more.

maybe in a year or 2 I'll get into this HD affecton arista. I do accept the differences VHS to DVD to Blu Ray. I can cope with my naughty box for the mo rather than spend £59 a month to watch my sports on HD

My brother has a satellite and full Sky subscripton - he is in your camp and laffs at my Samsung showng nonHD

In a couple of years
FreeviewHD would have been running for a year in HD.

They are trying to get Ch5HD on faster
in time for FreeviewHD Launch, this summer.

Of Course any Owner of Freeview boxes
would have to buy a New Freeview HD box.

Sky are going to Launch a Free to Air HD box
soon , as well.
Of Course those boxes add pay HD channels in seconds,
if you wish,
Clever set up.

Like the PS3 was the Trojan Horse
getting BluRay movies in more homes
and killing off the weaker HD Disc.

Sure.

FreesatHD , though you Pay nothing once fitted
and now Sony, LG and Panasonic have FreesatHD inside their LCD's.

You still can't watch Arsenal vs Chelsea or SB in HD - less than useless to me. Do you even see my points re naughty box and not doing a 'Claymores brother' thing but going out tomorrow night to spend £59 in the pub then watch SB not in HD?

Sure
But ITV1HD on FreesatHD
has shown loads of HDmatches.
Including Chelsea
and Arsenal.
