That's not a bad old group for Ireland. I was expecting the worst but I'll take Russia and Slovakia very happily.

We should be fine, however can't be over confident as that can backfire on you :).

We will beat them at least 3-0 like we did at Euro 2004, Frei is Quality though, Still nothing compared to Rooney though

Didn't they lose to Romania in the last world cup? :p
But yeah, interesting groups.

Your confidence will be your undoing. All your away games I can see you struggling. Us Welsh will not lie down for you, our players will be more up for it than yours.
On paper you should qualify easy but derby matches are difficult ones to call.

Don't be silly, Wales are no match for England when it comes to football, a team full of championship players V a team full of world class players, Bulgaria and Switzerland will be a walk in the park as well, The less said about Macedonia the better, Capello would have been laughing when he heard about this

We are no longer a team of championship players, this is the thing. Our Under21 boys with Ramsey scared your so called up and coming world class youth to death. I remember going to the last match in Cardiff when we played you and I thought like you, we will get hammered. In the end you were lucky to get the win. Derbies are different games than usual and our players will be up for it.
We haven't got Macedonia in the group, it's Montenegro. Bulgaria has Berbatov and may come back to bite England on the backside. Switzerland are absolutely boring but somehow got to the World Cup (topping their group).
Don't be too confident as we have nothing to lose, but England has everything. That's the beauty of being the underdog.

Thanks Chels, knowing our luck we will beat England then lose to everyone else. But then again I wouldn't care, it would be like winning the World Cup if we just beat England home and away.
Oh and if we stopped them qualifying by doing so. It would be hilarious.:cheer:
No point talking about wales beating England because it will never happen you know it as well as i do,

Englsh arrogance knows no bounds. Mind you - many of us Scots have emigration plans in place just in case the twonks win the World Cup and UK TV play it 24/7 for about 3 months
Argentina will make an arse of them again as the safety valve tho at whatever stage they meet
Don't hate
Not England's Fault there better then Ireland Northern Ireland Scotland and Wales put together

That's probably a valid statement :bawling:
I quite like just at the start of World Cups. BBC tend to replay the whole of the 66 World Cup Final then immediately after, BBC Scotland replay the whole of the 1967 England vs Scotland game @ Wembley with Jim Baxter playing keepie-uppie for fun and at one point sitting on the ball as bored that the English couldn't challenge! (we still failed to qualify! for Euros!)
I was hoping PaddyPower (who do some amusing markets) would have odds on John Terry to do Posh before the end of 2010
Jeez all easy apart from A and H
group I) has Czech Republic and Spain..much harder than H) imo

Because of the arrogance, if England played Iceland at tiddlywinks, there'd be a big rush on Iceland tops at the shops where I live -sad but TRUE!

Scotland will manage a draw against Spain but lose to Lichtenstein knowing our form!

England could have trouble against Wales, Switzerland or Bulgaria..
But on paper we should beat them all.
