First, I'd cut the costs of how much of the government's money is going towards the NHS. Anybody truly ill will receive all the medication they need, but obese people would be put on a program to lose weight. Anybody homeless will receive shelter or attend rehab. I will have no junkies and bums on my streets. Anybody unemployed and without qualifications or skills will learn and get a job, even if it is just as a cleaner. Everybody has the potential to learn a skill and use it. You pay very little attention to the milkman, or rubbish men but someone's gotta do these god awful jobs, and if you don't have a job, you're doing it.

Finally, I'd legalise marijuana, but it would be under heavy moderation, just like cigarettes and alcohol.

No matter what, I still view marriage as a religious commitment and religion does not take into consideration homosexuality.
