Cant turn on the telly without seeing somthing to do with America, Alot of UK Chanenls even have 'USA' Versions of their channels. Its ridiculous, in all honestly if I wanted to watch an American Show I would go online like I did with the Real World.
And The UK is far better with EU than it would be with America, They can just **** off, I hate everything about them, Im glad we in the UK arent as annoying as them. I actually thought British People in England were annoying and Americans were brilliant, then I joined TiBB and realised people living in England are really sound and then I learnt more about how self obsessed and ****ed up in the head the Americans Are.
Im going to calm down and go eat Birthday Cake..

Right, I'm going to take this topic on an economic level because it's what I do best (you bitches will be glad when I win the Nobel Prize in Economics :hugesmile:).
So, UK has pretty much been in Europe since the beginning (1973 which is about 20 years after the creation of Europe but still is considered as one of the first countries) so the fact it must belong to the US is out of question.
Furthermore, on an economic aspect, the fact UK doesn't have the same currency isn't a problem in itself as London is the first business place in Europe ahead from Paris, Milan and Frankfurt even though it's the 3rd ranked country in Europe (first is Germany, second is France) so on this aspect, the UK is not depending on the US.
Have you ever heard from the Blue Banana from Liverpool to Milan ? It's the economic heart of Europe, it's where it goes down to. It covers one of the world's highest concentrations of people, money, and industry. It speaks for itself.
I'm talking business and economic facts here. You may not agree but that's not a matter of opinion as it's been proved over and over again that the UK is fully part of Europe, no matter the currency differences. Let's take the Economic crisis as an example: Brown, Sarkozy and Merkel agreed to lead on the same economic policy to get Europe out of its mess so it's a sign UK is Europe.
And this topic is non sense anyway because even on other aspects (social, historic, cultural, ...) it's not the US.
That's it, feel free to comment on that but it's on your behalf, you don't want to challenge my economic skills. :tongue:

Seriously is stupid how the UK doesnt use the Euro.
REP of Ireland does when I go down there its weird using it, but obviously because im in NI I have to use the stupid Pound.
Tbf it is easier, and I would be confussed if we switched to Euro as I have grown up using the Pound but I would rather the UK just used the Euro like everyone else.

Like I said, I'm not talking about cultural differences with other European countries or as to why some European laws cannot be done but on an economic side, it is part of Europe and the fact UK will never change its currency isn't a big deal anymore.
I'm not a pro-Euro either but my opinion doesn't get into the equation this time, the UK will always belong to Europe on every aspect you might like. It is what it is. Fair enough it doesn't have the same currency, but so doesn't Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Estonia or Bulgaria. :thumbs:

I like how it works, its very easy to use and that, The only 2 reasons I think it could change is because I hate the look of it, but thats not the big deal but just because every other country in Europe uses Euro so I was thinking its a little odd we use the Pound you know?

Greece is another problem which has been complicated to solve and still is being solved today.
As for Eastern European countries, I'm not especially for them to enter the Europe but what's done is done and it has been the policy of the European Government. Eastern countries don't necessarily take Europe down because they've been helping in a few things such as production and new markets to explore even though it's the rule of "Whoever is richer pays for the poorest" which has taken the lead.
And to be honest, UK has been more of a disaster than Poland and Czech Republic combined which both countries have done quite well. UK and Spain are Europe's biggest disasters due to the Economic crisis.

First of all, unless something absolutely awful happens to the UK, the Euro will never be the official currency.
Secondly, bringing Europe wasn't that "simples". Yes it has for Easter European countries as it couldn't get any worse for them but for richer countries, it may not have been so good. Yes, it has increased Europe's strength on the International scene but prices have increased quite badly.
But then, it's out of context as the UK is one special context in itself. Like I said, the day UK will change its currency means it's not good, at all.
