I think Anthony proved to be yet another banal winner. I didnt laugh once at his 'best bits' the only thing I can remember about it was the amount of swearing . I knew it would be like that . It was no suprise he is Joe Average - a decent enough rough diamond nothing more nothing less. He was no where near the star quality of a Derek or a Makosi for instance. I didnt like Makosi but she was different, she had individualism . Derek was the star of the show his interview was hilarious , he had intellect , humour , arrogance , a heart of gold ( he did!) , he was ecsentric etc etc the list is endless . People will never ever get it! :bored:. The true talents of BB have never won the show e.g. Nick , Jon Tickle etc etc . The only winner who really deserved it was Brian . All the others have won either because they were just 'nice' or because they were 'different' e.g Nadia. Hmmm Nadia what was her highlights 'cigarettes... ummm...ooooo....ummmm I cant remember much more.' I think you see the picture Im building . There were plenty better contestants this year but yet again people plump for middle of the road .... well done!!!:hello:

totally agree about anthony. he is a goose! davina asked him did he realise about the crush craig had on him & he said "no, i dont think craig fancies me..."

I thought he came across very badly when he came out . Vain is not the word! plus that dig at Eugene was pathetic . He didnt say that before he went out did he! At least Makosi said even if she was lying or not she would have not taken the money

I told everyone about this Anthony 2 win stuff when i first joined and i got replies of "well hes better then craig, and all the others r 2 faced"
I knew this would happen, like you rjack i mentioned anthony's best bits video and said how boring it would be, makosis and kingas was much better.

However since Craig left i did warm to Anthony, but i still would have wanted Makosi or craig 2 win :thumbs:

im glad he won,i thought he deserverd it, he lasted all that time, he didnt have to be entertaining to win, he won based on his popularity with other housemates and not getting himself nominated,afterall, it is a gameshow.
Makosi may have been more entertaining, but im sooo glad she didnt win, her head can't get any bigger can it???? :sleep:

Yes, he certainly has.

Jon Tickle is nothing more than a poor man's Eugene. What about Kate? Other than Brian, she's only one that's really deserved to win so far. She doesn't fit with the way that you've described previous winners at all. She was great entertainment, genuine and down to earth throughout.

I thought Kate was a deserving winner. I actually wanted Alex to win BB3, but Kate was an excellent contestant and a worthy winner.

But the more I see of Anthony, the more I wish he hadn't won. Eugene deserved it far more.

I agree with most of the comments on this thread but it's basically what I've been saying for weeks.

I never ever wanted him to win but when he did I was pleased it hadn't gone to Maxwell (every cloud has a silver lining n tha')

Anyway from the second he was announced winner I hated him. He hardly said a word to Eugene and danced round the lounge. He knew he was going to win. He was well nasty to Makosi. Infact this denial of the romp in the pool act seems not to be washing with people. I'm not surprised as I genuinly think he's lying. My hatred for him is increasing as days go by. The more I see his cocky face the more I want to puke. I also can't for the life of me understand why women find him attractive. He's small with a piggy face and looks fat and as if he could get even fatter in years to come.

I bet the whole of Newcastle supported him, every drunk and many stupid women...If that was me I'd prefer not to win with those kind of fans

I also bet in a few weeks we would have forgotten him...well thats hope so :hugesmile:
