The Euro is Selective
who they let in there club

Greece is not using the same standards as Germany and France.
But they are in the same €uro money.
So they will get in Debt even more
with even more new input of €uro Cash.

This is Why the UK
(Except a future Republic Of Scotland)
we will never get sucked into that Vortex of the €uro.

I am Sure Capt Remy
is with me on this.

Europe is Not United it is Split up into
those permitted to get into the Select €uro club.

Greece should ditch the Euro
and use the Universal Dollar.

I suppose you're right, but then again all markets have gone **** up. :D

Thats why Some Nations have said they will not pay for Greece
that makes the market more un stable.

But the Whole point of the €uro is one system
and Greece has there own system
that has made them , alone , bankrupt.

So it proves the €uro does not work.

Capt Remy knows all this as well

Europe is to selective
on who they let in,
Greece got in due to the Sports
and that wrecked them right up to their current death - now.

Germany anmd France have Standards
that Greece will never do.

Also in Greece now
they have Civil UnRest.

Well, Greece has always been a problem to solve for Europe. It's quite a complicated case but since last week, the EU Commission has been acting quite weird towards Greece. I just don't get why they wouldn't help them knowing they have one of the highest unemployment rate in Europe and its economy doesn't make it belong to the top European countries.

Fair enough, the Greek money management system is quite ****ed up but come on, I may not be an €uro fan, but Greek people need help from Europe right now. arista is right, €uro has proved it doesn't work quite well to help economic situations.
However, Europe isn't the USA, we're not a federation so the economic systems differ from one country to another hence some countries refusing to help Greece.

And we're still asking to see the point of having an European President, who's been useless so far.

Right, I just became aware of Herman Van Rompuy announcing a settlement with Greece to help them but not providing them with any financial aid because "Greece needs to full fill its duties as an European country, there are rules to be respected. Angela Merkel said earlier today.

Interesting I think.

Speaking of this, Greece is having major problems with immigration as it's the eastern gate of Europe so not only they have a huge debt, but they can't get away with immigration. They're kind of screwed at the moment.

So we really are ****ed, eh? I know more about American politics than Irish, but you'd hear mixed reports all over the gaf.

What's going to be getting worse? I know it's a naive way of looking at things but the view from the ground seems to be okay. A bad recession with high unemployment, yeah, but I know plenty of people in jobs and the disposition seems as cheery as ever.

You're coming from the Irish perspective here....we've been f£cked for so long that the Celtic Tiger was a mere blip on our charts! I just think that politics means nothing at this stage and that there's a conglomerate of people and businesses who are in charge of the whole thing at this stage. We're at their mercy.

Yeah the vast majority of the country is sewn up in nationalist piggotry. We let the likes of Fianna Fail and the Catholic Church walk all over us and most of suburbia gleefully go along for the ride because it's 'Irish'.

The same people who rally GAA communities to protest headshops, bearing in mind Diageo is entertwined with the GAA and Guiness actually improves your hurling ability.

The tagline is even 'guiness is good for you' for **** sake. It's like priest, pints and a healthy sense of closeted racism is the aul Irish way.

But it's still a great place because the good folk have this whimsical 'ah sure **** it' view about it.

At this stage Bertie 'I don't know where it's all gone, lads, I had it a second ago' Ahern looks like one of the best things to ever happen to the country. It's that messed up.

I have read it all and I'm not sure what to think. I believe that our rights are being undermined. I don't believe for a second we are free. But the whole sinister imagery of the thing I don't buy into. They are *****, sure, but they don't meet in robes deliberately plotting ways to undermine us, and they don't feel the bizarre need to give themselves away in the most abstract methods of iconography known to man. Let's not give them that much credit. Just greedy morons.

I'm on the Chomsky end of the scale, taking David Icke to be the highest point of nuttyness.

Because we were 'better informed' this time, apparently. This was our 'informed' vote. Not the first one. Sure we all stumbled into the polling stations blindfolded the first time, knocking over ballot boxes. Thank god Europe stepped in and showed us the light.

Speaking of that, Brian Cowens reason for us voting Yes to the Lisbon treaty was, "we're a small nation, Europe don't need us but we need them" I heard a guy on the radio yesterday say he met Brian Cowen and asked him If we're such a small insignificant nation as you say how is it that our politicians are one of the highest paid in the world, he had no answer.

If only.

Thing is we pay into Europe on a yearly basis, if the European Union needs to borrow money to shore up its flawed currency unit, they borrow against our future payments.

Its not quite as simple as them being on the lookout for a sub till the next pay day.

Plus any fiscal measures Europe adopts to shore up the Euro will have a knock on effect on the day to day running of Europe and consequently onto us.
