I loved Escape to Victory with Sly stallone and michael caine
the greatest of Pele playing on with a broken arm and Bobby Moore playing at centre back

Field of Dreams for me, although it's more of a fairytale than a sports flick. Any Given Sunday was pretty decent.

I'm not a huge fan of sports movies - I can't stand the Rocky series and I think Raging Bull is horrifically overrated.

I did enjoy Up and Under as a kid, although it's been years since I last saw that film.
Also liked This Sporting Life and, of course, Dodgeball. There aren't many others that spring to mind.

Although you can't really call it a 'sports movie', Strangers on a Train is one of my all time favourite films - which reminds me, Wimbledon is by far the worst sports movie I've ever seen.
