I don't see them being hated - quite the opposite - I see some members clearly sucking-up to certain mods - no doubt in the hope that they will be allowed to get away with certain behaviours! Vomit time!

Well we have two distinct breed of the species Moderalis. Moderalis Miserables, who take themselves very seriously, come on once a month, mod the first thing they see, then leave.

Then we have Moderalis Tolerantalus. The ones who are clearly active, friendly members as well as being mods, who tolerate active flaming of really stupid troll members and ban and mod what really needs to be banned and modded.

An average child would not know who Josef Fritzl is, but they would know, and would see a picture of a topless woman.

Well that isn't really for you, Jack, me or anyone else to say is it - that is a decision for the admin - and they have to cater for the majority, not a small minority! And those supporting the allowance of bad taste jokes on the forum can just as easily be described as acting like a bunch of sheep!

True but my point is still a good one for the normal members to remember, nobody here would watch a show they didn't like so they could complain about it later (unless they were really sad) and nobody would say anything if some stranger was telling the joke to another in public so why would you take the time to complain about a joke here (apart from the obvious answer of the power of anonymity). The only time I'll ever complain or really argue with someone is if they say something ridiculously stupid (and being completely serious about it) so that they deserve to be brought down a peg or two.

When it comes to jokes and humour if someone doesn't appreciate it it's more their problem then the people engaged in the said joke. Nobody forces anyone to read anything on here and it's obvious that the fritzl jokes are just that, jokes. Nobody condones what the man's done but they're poking fun at him, not idolising him. I can't see the problem and I don't have time for sensitive people, if you don't like off-colour jokes or offensive things then you're really watching the wrong show. BB is not a family show and the forum can't be expected to be child friendly when the subject matter is not. I haven't even touched on the matter that kids hear much worse in the playgrounds and at breaks.

It's a good point, it's easier to avoid such jokes on the internet then it is in real life but the anonymity just goes to people's heads.

As far as I'm aware, there aren't awards for the Arcade at the moment. The tournaments people have won have taken place on the Forum e.g. Next Top Model, The Apprentice, Battle of the Sexes etc.
