so they have the same basic stories but what was your favourite romantic film out of those two and why?

I disagree that their stories were similar really, they were both done with a similar style though. I really enjoyed both but I'd probably say (500) Days of Summer.

I enjoyed it more really and plus I liked the non-linearity and the fact that it was something a bit different compared to your average romcom, It was a romcom for film snobs :laugh:

I do love Adventureland though, it's still in my top films of 09.

If you meant why i think they are different, It's because DOS is a Romcom while AL is more of a Coming of Age story Really.

I really enjoyed both but I prefer 500DOS, I think. Zoey Deschannel really enchanted me and the ending was....not what I expected at all.

whereas Adventureland was great but a little more predictable and Kristen Stewart is a little irritating.

i taught KS was great in it
and shows that how bad she is in Twilight

To be fair to Kristen Stewart, Bella hasn't got much of a personality or anything to act from in Twilight so I don't blame her for doing crap in that. She's a good actress from what I've seen of her other roles.
