Help needed

Does anyone know how to get past the big brown horse in the 'Barbie - Horse Riding' game on PS2. I've tried but the bastard keeps on biting my donkey's tail and then i loose a life. I'm thinking of just throwing it away all together cos it's pissing me off so much. But i loved the game up until then.

Also what has everyone called their ponies? I have called mine Bob because i like that name. I think it's quite original wheras a name like Pinky wouldn't have been. I have created my donkey myself and it has light brown hair and blue eyes. I added a pink ribbon for a nice effect but i may change it to blue to jazz it up a bit. If i get past this brown horse i will be able to add a saddle and i'm thinking of putting a blue one up to match.

GOOD NEWS. I have defeated the brown goat and have befriended him. He has now been added to my stable and i am now on level 8. My mission is to train my horse so he does a good job in his first go at the grand nationals. I have brought a pink saddle and changed Bob's bow to a blue one. I am now going to try my hand at riding the donkey. Wish me luck!
