Kissing people when you meet

I noticed at the Brits that Peter Kay had to kiss all the birds who came on to present an award and it really annoyed me.

This media luvvie kissing thing has to stop.

If you have not seen a close relation for a while then a handshake or kiss is natural but not when you see folks you see all the time.

Does anyone agree that the kissing has to stop?
