And tonight, we have a new one to discuss about. So, is it better to live life following your heart, or following your mind ?

Discuss.

I always believe in following your heart, unless you're going to get hurt in the process.

Following your heart is being where you should be.

Well if you're going with fate and all that, heart is definitely should be. Following your mind is doing what you think is right.

I think that in life there should be a balance, both the heart and the mind are important. But the most important thing of all, is that you follow what you think is true to your heart and to the better of everybody.

Neither, you always have to follow your nose, unless you cut it off to spite your face. Fact.

Not an easy one - but, I think, long-term and realistically - following the mind is likely to be more fruitful, with maybe the odd dabble in the other!

Makes no odds really - the outcome is always the same: Chaos. Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. So yeah, just get on with it.

Following your mind is more sensible in most cases but following your heart will only make you truly happy. Of course it can backfire and make you wholly unhappy but that is a risk to take and life involves a lot of risks and gambles. It's what makes you what you are as a person. I believe everything happens for a reason and what hurts us only makes us stronger. Here endeth the lesson. :)

I'd say I follow my heart more than my head...or more specifically maybe I go with my gut instinct, not sure if that is the same thing. It usually sees me right though! But I think a little bit of both is best, if you only do what is logical all the time then I don't believe you'll ever be truly happy, you have to pursue your heart's desires!

Heart

Live life to the full and in the moment, deal with consequences when they arise.

Mind, you'd have an idiot to truly live life following your heart.

Heart and Mind.
IMO having a balance is better than fully following one or the other.

I think going by your heart could make you vunerable really, you always need your mind
