Mozzila Firefox is safer than Internet Explorer.
Opera is safer and more customizable than those.
Go for google chrome if you just want something really simple. Anything but IE tbh.

It lets viruses in to the computer easier than any other. It is not the safest if you are sending any information or shopping online etc.. It seems pretty easy to be hacked too.
It is slow too.

The tabbing is quite good in Google Chrome too.
I always use a spell checker just in case.

That was my works computer, and they still insist on using IE6 because some intranet pages won't work on anything else???

At home I use the latest version of Firefox, plus on my desktop I have Google Chrome.

Actually if you are a web designer you need IE, just so you can see what you are coding works in that system.

I use Internet Explorer, I've got Safari and Firefox but they always take longer to load up then IE really. I used to use Firefox all the tiem a while ago but I just got used to IE again after we restarted the computer once.
