View Full Version : People who are members of Digital Spy
I just registered for Digital Spy, and (no surprise) it asked for my email addy, so i enterend it. When I pressed complete registration, it said we do not accept emaill addresses from msn and yahoo!!!
It said please enter an email address provided by your ISP
So i entered a fake one lol (naughty really)
it happened to be hello@hello.com, i did this because i know my dad doesnt want emails from people he doesnt know and he gets in a stress and says "we'll get viruses"
Anyway, after i entered the phony email it said "A code has been sent to hello@hello.com use this code to activate your account
Now i want to resign so i can start over again but i dont know how to resign :bawling:
Can someone who knows please tell me how to resign from Digital Spy

DS is a waste of time, you'll only get banned for something stupid.

Yeah, it's a very poorly run forum, anyway.

The valid email rule is a good thing - it gives a little added security for the board owners. And making it only for email accounts provided by your I.P. is deliberate, so that if you're banned you can't get back in again easily, if at all. The only thing is, once you are in, it's a very badly run board. It's full of cliques, and people are frequently banned for inane reasons, whilst others can do as they please without being penalised at all.

And certain members of DS who report every post that's slightly off topic, when they're the one's going off topic most of the time.

Because you can get a new Yahoo or Hotmail address any time you want. If you have an email address from AOL, Tiscali, NTL, Wanadoo, etc. then it's highly unlikely you'd ever be allowed to get it changed. So DS would block your email address as well as your I.P. to prevent you joining again with a new email address. You'd need to change the company that provides your internet, and that's not very likely just so that someone can rejoin a forum.
