How to become tibb staff

Im currently trying to reach Gold status which means staff, but i seem to be having a few problems on how i actually do this? Do i have to be a member for a certain amount of time, do i have to be in with James or sleep with Vicky (joke) how do i become a member?

Yeah to you they may be fun, to lots they are irritating and to some, some of your posts could be seen as very offensive.

Sort of goes against what a moderator is there for dont you think, controversy seeking? Having your own opinions which you stand up for and courting controversy arent necessarily the same thing

Anyway you become a mod by generally being online a lot posting a lot, but never insulting people or causing arguments, trying to calm them down or keep out of it..

Ok, I was doing it all for my own amusement. Some hours I was crying with laughter. My fave was bbc future.
However I will now stop my schnanigans and be part of the forum. No more 'jokes' in the serious debates. Ive never insulted anyone though! Sorry V

That is as maybe, but you do mod the boards, you dont lay it on heavy etc and you contribute to the betterment of the site in general.

I think you have to be on 24/7 and also have been following the celeb version, which I did not when they had it.

Also age does not matter, as I have been on TIBB since a group of us defected to it from Talk Big Brother in 2001 and I am not a mod, (And yes it says I joined in 2002, but thta date is wrong because many years ago there was a serious problem with TIBB and we all had to re-register or something like that).

I vaugely remember being told that I was not considered because I did not watch the celeb version, but that was many years ago and I can not remember who by.

My understanding is that you are invited by the forum admins to be a mod, after they deem you worthy. Asking to be a mod automatically disqualifies you from what I can tell. I was invited to be a mod, but not here, and now I am a mod on another forum and it was by invitation of one of the co-founders of the forum.

When the admins decide they need staff, they'll post a thread asking for people to apply. I assume they select people who seem responsible, are active and aren't complete power-freaks who'll abuse it.

I can't see there being any new mods yet because they only made me, Princess +Zee mods just over a month ago or so, and we're fairly active (alongside 30stone/Vicky)
