Hiya, I was just wondering has anyone ever done the Ouija Board and if so did it work/was it scary?

My friends really wanna do it... haha.

Yeah, was a bit freaky, but were not sure if the girls doing were messing and that. I'd have to do it with people I trust

As far as I'm aware, it works because you are naturally moving it yourself, just not realising it. It's like a force being pushed through that you're unaware of.

I'd still like to do it though.

They're rubbish. The only reason it feels scary is because you could potentially be contacting the dead, and the thought of that is terrifying. It's all fake though.

It's a shame they cash in on stories that are blown way out of proportion like The Amityville Horror, they even call it a true story when it's not. Also the way those fortune tellers and those that 'talk' to the dead and play on vunerable peoples emotions

Yep it works. I have got a proper Ouigi board, had it for about 7 years now I think. Not been on it in a while. It's under my bed.

Either they are lying or there is some other explanation. If Ouiji boards moved independent of human interaction, it would have been on video by now. On the news. Confirmed to work. Everywhere. It would have been a big deal. Absoloute confirmation of another dimension. Yet these supposed instances are always incredibly clouded.

They have been disproven time and time again. It's a fun thing to do when your drunk maybe, yeah, just remember it's B.S. :wink:.

No comment on this one from me. Yes, there may very well be nothing to them and it's all down to the workings of the unconscious, but I still wont be messing around with those things.

Its a toy is all, if you remember that it can be fun. It works through unconscious action of the users. It can only cause harm to those who allow it to, highly imaginative and susceptible people. If you are worried about it or anyone who is using it, dont play with it.

I remember when me and my friends were playing it a few years ago.. I asked "who is going to die first" or something then the pointer thing moved on it's own then we quickly grabbed it and ended the game. Other weird stuff has happened too. Not done it in a while though, might want to get it out again! My mum's friend asked me that she wanted to do it.. so might do it with her but best with a few people.

If it really did work do you not think that people would worked out by now how to make money from the dead by accessing information to wills, safe deposits, legal issues, murder trials etc..

rather than entertain some group of teens in a bedsit?
