She dies after realising she is just like all the rest of the monsters. Simplest way I can put it.

The film didn't do the games any justice. :P

I felt quite sorry for her in the game, that's one thing I like a lot about SH. Scary games but the characters and story aren't typical horror cliches most are quite deep. Especially SH2.

Best time though was when my friend wanted to play it, so a few of us went round to hers and watched her play. Even though I knew what to expect and they didn't, it was still creepy because we kept making each other jump all the way through. Hahah.
