Here it is cheaper to recycle because we pay for the bin by how much it weighs but we don't have to pay for how heavy the recyclables are. It is easy too.

I recycle. We have bins in the house for cans, glass and plastic, and then another bin for general junk.

we have 2 bins, a black and a green, they collect the black on week then green the next, with the green is all the recycling

if we chose not to recycle the black bin would explode after 2 weeks, we always recycle and loads goes out in the recycling

Our council provides 4 defferent ones. 2 bins and 2 small containers.
Green items, papers, plastic and for any other junk.

We have to take glass to Tesco car park.
