So I went to see my dad today in norwich on the basis we were going to watch a movie..and fck all was on (we didnt want to see alice in wonderland or lovely bones)

so we took a punt on ''Crazy Heart'' at this awesome place called Cinema City who do the smaller films...and I was all ready to fall asleep. But it was awesome. Very emotional even though it doesn't really feel like its going anywhere. I can tell why Jeff Bridges picked as Oscar up for it last night..


Has anyone seen it? did you like it?

I enjoyed it. Love Bridges so wasn't a struggle at all for me to sit though it.

I watched gran torino, bit boring but for some reason i couldnt change the channel.

OK, so I went in with the expectation of it being quite a well made and obviously well acted film, but it may be lacking in terms of entertainment.

I was right about the first two. I didn't count on it being quite as entertaining as it was though! Very enjoyable film overall and Jeff Bridges certainly lives up to the hype - but having said that, I expect nothing less from him. He should have been an Oscar winner a loooong time ago.

I liked it. Acting was great, and some songs were nice to listen too. I found it intresting how he sorted out his life from a drunk to a nice clean person.
