Vinnie flew back from LA to join the cast of undesirables in last month’s Celebrity Big Brother, there was only one question: why? “Honestly?” he scowls, “a million dollars – with a big percentage of that going to Help for Heroes. I regretted every minute of it while I was in there, but now I love the fact that I did it. You wouldn’t believe the reaction I’ve had since: the last time I was this big was at the premiere of Lock, Stock. On my way here today some geezer in a white van shouted out: 'Vinnie, you’re the people’s champion!’.”
