Isn't there a sports section for threads like this - we don't all like sport - it should be in there!

Man united 8/13 - Outperformed Milan at the San Siro and were Unlucky not to win by more so they will likely see them off at old trafford

Arsenal 4/7 - Need to win or else they go out so they will be pushing for goals in this game + at the emirates where very few teams win

Rangers 2/5 - Can't see any other result in this game, Rangers have near enough a fully fit squad to choose from and should win Easily

Real Madrid 2/7 - Going into this match of the back off a 3-2 win against Sevilla after being 2-0 down and like Arsenal they have to win this one and with the attacking options up front,

Stake - £10
Potential Return - £45.69

Rangers won 2-0
Arsenal won 5-0

United and Real madrid play today

I like to bet, but betting in advance of a first race of a season would scare the 'ell out of me..........you got insider knowledge?

I did the extreme bet as my car needs road tax/MOT/new alu coolant pipes this month - I've kinda given up gambling for a bit as Betfair have put me on Premium Charge (means they now want 20% of my winnings.

I'd have to be a total mug to tell you my bets in advance as it'd feck the odds if followed. When betting heavily on soccer/Am Footie I usually do it in-game so couldn't even keep you up with odds/stakes live even if I could be assed doing it.

It was a silly non-gambler post you just made

"Putting your money where your mouth is"? As the gambling parlance goes!!!! You seem well clued-up on F1 so wouldn't bet against you.

Lingfield is a good race

Prices at the minute

War of the Roses 5/2
Hurakan 8/11
Lytham 6/1
Strong Storm 10/1
Turnham Green 66/1

Thinking off betting against Hurakan in this one

Lytham is on a four timer...

Got him at 13/2

£5 on at 13/2 - £37.50 returns

Also if you can find a bet....you'll get good odds on button never winning a race again.....which he wont...

Button is a pretty average driver IMHO - he just had the best car and miles ahead of the competition when season opened. So you could be correct again.

The ponies are a mystery to me I must admit and try to avoid as you're betting against very pro punters who study form closely/get insider tips. Big Brother is a money-fest on the other hand as betting against novelty housewife punters.
