I've only just realised that SEVEN of them were from London......SEVEN!!!

Mary/Orlaith from Ireland

Yeah but at the end of the day,the greater part of the population is from GB and I'm not sure of exact figures but what is the difference in population between London and the entire country of Wales?

As long as there's an Irish housemate I'm happy.And technically Orlaith isn't from Ireland,she is from Northern Ireland which is part of the UK,but not part of Great Britain and Mary is from the Republic of Ireland,the real Ireland!

There's not strictly 7 from London though, is there? Mary is Irish (I didn't know that she was living in London), Kemal, who is Turkish Cypriot, was living in Liverpool prior to entering the house, and Derek (I think) was born and grew up there, but doesn't he live elsewhere now?

By that reckoning, there were two hm's from Liverpool and two from Yorkshire. Where is Sam from, by the way?

Wales doesn't do very well on BB at all really, does it? I can only think of Helen (BB2) and Lisa geezer-bird (BB4 drop-in). Scotland doesn't do much better, either - Sandy (BB3), Lynne (BB3), Federico (BB4) and Cameron (BB5) - any more?

There were no hm's of Asian descent this year. There's never been a hm of Oriental Asian (I'm sure that's not politically correct, but I don't know of any other way of saying it) descent at all. And there's never been a disabled hm, either.
