Wouldnt this make the world of music so much bloody easier?
Apple keep releasing ****, like the iPad that no one cares about and of course the 'New Nano' which is basically the same as the original but abit bigger and has a camera.. big woop.
Why cant they stick to the purpose of the iPod which was MUSIC.
My little brother has the new iPod, and I have the Original.
I put alot of albums on mine the other day including MJ who Im not bothered about but my brother loves him and wants me to put MJ songs on his iTunes.
We are currently trying to import the tunes but they keep not allowing us to Drag n Drop even though Im doing it correctly.
Does anyone else think this would be a far easier and better idea for the iPod:
Each user has a number or username.
Other iPod Users can add these people as contacts, and can send eachother songs.
Like blue tooth, its so easy to do.
How the hell did Apple not think of this?
Its not as if it cant be done, its so simple.
Anyone else agree?

Cant you do that with the family sharer thing on the computer?
And the problem with that would be, only one person buys the song but they could send it to everyone, it'd be pretty much illegal filesharing :(

Yeah, it'd be considered as illegal filesharing.
It's to encourage everyone to buy their own music. It sounds silly not to be able to transfer music from your iPod to your computer since it's one of the most simplest ideas but that's how it is. Fortunately, there are programs that rip the music for you.

They could have a send limit like each song can only be sent 5 times or something.
i guess it'd be illegal, but soo much easier!

Yup sweety and better than getting an Mp3 - you can stream the album @ flac rate (or even1-1) then compress it to ipod if wish

Try a torrent application - I can stream from 5000 sharers if a popular thing - it is not rocket science
It could work but they'd probably have to have some kind of charge. Link every iPod up to an iTunes account, and for every song transferred charge the iTunes account 79p or whatever it costs (in accordance with the song obviously)
By the way, Patrick do you own a phone with a photo/video camera and an MP3 player?

No just stream it for free using naughy sites to find out if any good. If want the physical CD/DVD afterwards then use eBay/Amazon

ha the world gone 14? I promise you, you can stream anything you want for free and move it between laptop/PC/ipod. You can stream 1-1 then use a free app to downgrade it to mp3 if your iPod is lacking space
I really don't see a problem here..............you can take a vid and change it down to ipod
