Well that is different then I suppose. I think editing is just as important as composition, depth of field etc. Do you think it's "cheating" in a way?

I'm not sure really. It just leaves me cold, like certain films do when they play about too much with natural light in post-production. What can I say, I'm just a purist at heart.

You can tell when a photo has had too much editing and it just looks messy, but it's amazing what a touch can do. Just increasing the brightness or contrast of a photo or slightly adjusting the colours can improve the quality so much.

Funny actually.. I was planning another photography contest soon. They're so much better than these elimination games as they are judged on talent, it's quite nice really. Figge Art Museum. Shot this on Ilford SFX 200 film, which isn't really the best for architectural detail. Should have shot with a T-Grain film, like Kodak TMax.

Unfortunately, I decided to develop these in my ex-girlfriends bathroom, rather than my own. Too much dust and cat hair floating around hers. Got all over the negatives during development.

Glad you like. This is a f/2.8 lens, but I shot this picture at 5.6. I can't imagine how soft the background would be at f/2.8.

Just got in an 85mm f/1.2 lens. I took a picture to test the Depth of Field. Look at that ****! Can shoot in crazy low light.
