Well I havn't got a boyfriend but I'd argee with this. Friends are most important,if the guy isn't serious and going out with them hurts your friends in some way than forget it.

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.
There will be hundreds of guys or girls out there for you, but good friends are once in a life time things, you gotta keep them close.

I dont agree or disagree.
The way i see it, you cant **** your friends about most likely they have been there through a lot with you...
But in the same way, you could spend your life/ start a family with that girl, so she deserves the attention more.
You need to find good balance between them.
But depending on the relationship your girlfriend becomes as important if not more, especially if you get to a point where your getting married or having children.
The best is if your girlfriend and your friends get on :)

I think when the person you're with sexually, is kinda your bestfriend. Then it doesn't become an either or situation.

We made a pact with my friends saying that we will never argue over a girl. And it never happened in 6 years we've known each other. I love spending nights with my girlfriend, but sometimes I need to see my bros on my own because I don't want to lose that friendship. Same thing for her aswell, she has friends too. We often do parties all together.

Too many young girls make the mistake of stopping going out with their friends when they are seeing someone. Why do they do that? It is not a good idea and very short-sighted. We always need friends, relationship or not. If you dump them for a guy - they probably won't want to know you when that relationship ends!

friends are one of the most important things in my life even if it were serious i wouldnt choose a partner over them i had the choice taken away from in 1 relationship due to nature of relationship and it lost me a couple of amazing friends so i would never willingly do it of my own doing

Bro's before Hoe's is all well and good when you're a teenager but my husband comes before all my friends.

I'm not much of a believer in this kind of black and white way of thinking. If you're in a realationship you should compromise and be stable enough to accept that your respective other has a life away from said relationship. However, friends are friends for a reason, and they should be able to understand that you cannot always drop everything because they've had an urge to do something. In emergency situations, both friends and lovers should be understanding if you're needed somewhere else... and if this doesn't happen then you should consider the friendship/relationship not as good as you may have before.
It's about balance, understanding, and compromise. It isn't about silly catchphrases like 'Bro's before Hoe's'.

That is right.
If you have to have either or something is wrong.
You need to be able to see your friends as well as see your girlfriend.

I'd refuse to choose because both fulfill a different part of my life.

Agreed you have children with your husband right? which makes the bond even stronger, and your husband and your children come first over anyone.

Yes I do and both my husband and children have to take priority.

For sure.
Its how my mum looked at it.
Once she had children, her parents came after her children the way she saw it.

family first
friends later
I've got a good relationship with my mates and my girlfriend, I don't feel the need to have to put one before the other. You just need to find balance

As Tom said, it's about finding the right balance and it's always taken me a while to do when getting into new relationships. You need time with your partner but then you still need time with your friends. Me and my fiance spend a lot of time time together as we live together but we always make sure we have time apart to spend time with our friends. Nearly all of my friends are in relationships too so it can be difficult sometimes to spend time with them as much as I want!

Needs to be balanced, when the relationship is early i have to admit its going to be friends first all the way but as it got more serious the balance would become equal and maybe tip the other way. But for now at 18 no guy will ever come before my friends

Also, let's not forget, that sometimes you can be best friends with your respective other. I'd never told my missus that I thought of her as my best friend until one day she turned round and said it to me... that's when I realised that I wasn't completely crackers. Just a lil bit.
