View Full Version : Can you lock every single thread posted before 2010?
Anyone else sick to death of very old threads being bumped ALL THE TIME?

Nope.
Nope.
Alternatively they could just ban you

It doesn't bother me. It actually annoys me when a thread is locked because it's a few years old.
It's still a thread, no matter when it was made, and so people can reply to it whenever they want. It's no big deal.

Fair enough if its relevant to bump it, otherwise its pointless esp if its just bumping for the sake of it
I don't mind bumping but when all the bumps are pointless, all are done in a deliberate string, and most done by the one member it gets very old.
Find some hobbies, Beast.
Fact is it is annoying when you waste time loading pages that turn out to be just you bumping an old thread with no point to make.

I do sometimes have a point to make though! such as the left handed thread.
I will remember this hopefully.. for 13th August this year! Thanks Sticks :)
Oh yes. Thank you sticks. Screw Google, I decided - in March - to use the TiBB search function to remind myself of when left hand day is coming up. Why? I don't know. But damn you can bet your ass I just had to bump it to let everybody know.
Right.

Its hardly all the time FFS.
And its diffrent if its a thread like 'Who do you want to win BB6?' That was bumped.. but if its a thread that still has a purpose then why the **** shouldnt it be bumped?

Shut up little boy and come back when you've got something relevant to say.
That's really constructive Tom. On the subject, it is annoying sometimes. I have gone into a thread and replied to it before, and then noticed the date of the original post and noted it is now irrelevant. But that's not the case always.
nope. some old threads are nice to read over after a while (:

I don't even know where to start picking that apart :laugh3:
You won't bother bumping it in 2011 because a) I probably won't even post anymore anyway and b) it will embarrass you. You're gonna cringe if you're still around in a year or so and look back on what you post.
How come your not going to post anymore in 2011?
Maybe your right, alot of members have said they looked back when they first joined and cant belive the ammount of **** they posted.. I probley will do that, but until then im being myself and idc really care what im gona think in the future.
because once BB11 is out the way this place will be dead
