In the Hague for War Crimes/Crimes Against Humanity contrary to international law and the UN Conventions?

He clearly led his country to attack another which was posing no offensive threat and caused countless deaths on both sides for no valid reason. He also did this in the knowledge that Iraq posed no offensive threat to the UK, and purveyed the obvious lies fed to him by another warmongering nation simply because we are defensive allies

Yes he should be put on trial for his part in the illegal invasion of another country, along with his mate George Bush. Its great that he can lie to a public inquiry and get away with it hiding behind "in the National Interests".

He could always get his missus to defend him. Thats would save on the legal aid too.

I dont want to see him get off, I want him to be punished, that twat cost me about a year and several thousand pounds thanks to his agreement to go invade in order to remove WMD's that even the UN monitoring agency said didnt exist.

I wish people would spend more time and energy calling for real war criminals to be brought to justice......

No, I mean now helping him with the speeches and consultancy interactions. When he's earning those kinda figures I'd say he's hired in a few minions to do his bidding. That's what power brings you. Sickening really.

No terrorists arent, they are simply criminals, unless of course the situation later escalates into a war. Then they could be called to account for their actions at a later date if their action could be considered to have helped cause the war, In which case they may charged with crimes against peace. Simples.

For a war crime to have been committed there needs to have the legal state of war as defined in the Hague Convention, UN charters , Geneva Convention and a few other internationally legally binding documents.

Invading a country, simply because you didnt like the regime, under the false pretext of removing weapons of mass destruction the other person may have is definately a crime against those international conventions, Given that they had been bombing Iraq for a while prioir to the invasion, it would be down to lawyers at the Hague and the UN to determine if Blair was to be charged with crimes against peace or war crimes or in the ideal world both.

I would say its also a tad hypocritical for Blair and Bush to go in to remove WMD's from Iraq while having highly developed WMD and enough research to turn your own pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries into biological and chemical weapon manufacturing in a couple of days themselves.
