..Music Channels have bloody advertisments?

Its like your watching it, and it plays like 2 songs and then shows about 11 Adverts.

Is there any point at all in it!

Its like your flick up the channels and its just advert.. after advert.. they all go on the breaks at the same time.

God.

Does anyone else get annoyed with this?

It wouldnt be as bad if they played about 5 or 6 songs and then took a break but seriously.. Im watching the UK Official Charts, and they have 1 song from the charts.. go on some stupid pointless 'Chart Rewind' and then go onto the charts again for 1 song, and then goes on a break.

because without the adverts they won't exist.

Just go to a different channel in the adverts

Without adverts, TV Shows and other channels like ITV wouldnt exist.

How would Music Channels suffer from no adverts?

Dont they make money by playing these songs?
Plus, they only loose viewers..
Its like if your watching X Factor or somthing and it goes on a break you wait for it to come back on, but with music channels if it goes on a break it only makes you turn it off and go and 'Illegally' download music or listen to it via Youtube.

Because the videos aren't just given, the channels have to buy the rights to the videos. They can't buy the rights if they're getting no money, plus a high number of viewers is pointless if you've got no advertisement slots going for sale.

Channels show adverts = channel gets money = channel buys videos = channel gets viewers = channel shows adverts and so on

I'd rather have adverts than have to pay for every single channel, when you think of it, adverts are a good deal

Without advertisements, the channel isn't able to pay for anything.

The only channels without commercials are the BBCs and Disney Channel.

Have the BBC not considered a music channel?

That would make sense...

Depends, technically, music videos can be labelled as "advertising" which the BBC is banned from doing

They aren't allowed I don't think, the BBC can't replicate what goes on elsewhere (hence BBC3 doesn't match up to ITV2 and E4 for imports etc).

BBC is funded by the license fee, they don't need ad funding.

BBC don't advertise because they get their money from the TV License. ITV don't so they need to advertise to make money to buy TV shows and things.
