Quite a bit! Not been to North Wales that much but Snowdonia is lovley (climed up it a few years ago) and Ynys Mon (I think that's Anglesey) is also a nice place to visit. Plus there's loads of castles everywhere.

Only place in Wales I'd like to go visit - except my brother tells me it's overpriced because lots of people visit as sod-all else to do in Wales.

Walk up hills, walk down hills, walk round hills, go to the pub, watch the sheep and rams mate, walk up some hills, get abused by the locals for being an english t***, get in with the locals by walking up and down a few hills (or mountains as they call them) find a holiday cottage owned by some english and set it ablaze, while dancing round it naked bonding with the local Dais, walk up some more hills, walk down some hills and sleep.

Think you will have a good time, its nice there, enjoy the break.

Yeah I don't mind the walking and the peaceful atmosphere, it's better than the city really.

visit pob's village - except make sure you have Sat Nav because pob used to boast on LF diring BB7 that any time a lost English visitor aked for directions in Northern Wales he'd give them incorrect directions. I guess that's the Northern Welsh definition of funny

National Slate Museum in Llanberis is quite good. Sounds boring, but it's quite interesting. It's a picturesque place too. And it's free.

I'm sure you're probably giving a good steer on that.............it's just "National Slate Museum" as a holiday destination sounds incredibly funny

Mauritius? No South Africa to see the World Cup? No - I want to go see the National Slate Museum in Wales

I was just being silly/sarcy - knew what you meant - and I'll go see some National Slates if I ever have the misfortune to get stuck in Wales!
