Sarah Harding confirms solo album!

SARAH HARDING has become the third GIRLS ALOUD singer to announce she's working on solo material.

Sarah, who unveiled this new mature look on Wednesday night, said at her Kanaloa club in London: "I'm starting my album now but I don't know what theme of music to go for. I want to step away from cheesy pop.

"It's important for me to try to establish my own identity."

She's doing herself down a bit. I'm told Sarah will be songwriting with top producers.

Looks like Girls Aloud won't be releasing anything this year, unfortunately.
I wonder how long before Nicola + Kim do a Spice Girls and join in the solo careers (Nicola solo please <3)

Suppose it gives The Saturdays, Sugababes & Girls Can't Catch more time to build their success as girlbands though (although neither are doing particularly well anyway despite GA absense)

The fans are getting really frustrated now, as much as we're looking forward to Nadine's album it's taking a year longer than planned.

The thing that people forget is that the longer they delay their album (as Girls Aloud) then the longer we have to wait to see them on tour together.

I am not being trying to be controversial or nasty here - just speaking my mind.

I think Kimberley and Cheryl and Sarah have lovely bubbly personalities and I do think they are all gorgeous girls but I just think the other three are real live wires whilst Nadine and Nicola are a wee bit bland personality wise.

Don't think we'll get another GA album tbh, maybe a final GH but I'd be suprised if we got another studio album despite contracts etc.

Record contracts are usually open ended, in theory they could make their next album in 2040

I guess Cheryl moving on came at the right time- it meant the rest all had to move on just as Girls Aloud were starting to seriously tank. So they've gone out on somewhat of a high and don't look desperate with solo projects.
