View Full Version : I'm moving out!
By the end of the week I'll be moved out of my Mum's house and in my new house. I'm so excited :D :D
I have always shared a room since I were little and now I get my own space... my god. So good!
On your own or family moving house?

I'm moving in with 2 mates and their other mate. The house is huge went to see it Monday morning. Kitchen is so lush.

I can't wait. I have the smallest room but it's not even that small. It looks small now because it had a double bed but I have a single bed.
I know... my mum hates me anyway we've been argueing for months plus my mates are never there, they're always in a different city due to their job and work later at Tesco with me. :D

is your new place far from home Ross?
Um like 15 minutes. It's not even far at all.
My Mum basically threatened me earlier with like "If you don't like MY rules in MY house you know what to do..." we were proper at eachothers throats.
I obviously got one up on her smart little remarks she doesn't know I had found a place.
I was 50/50 on wether to go because we were getting on okay-ish. Now she's said that given me more motive to go.
You'll get on so much better when you probably aren't under each others feet 24/7

you probably need your own space now anyway, you and your mom will probably get on better when you aren't living with eachother. I get on great with my mother but she'd drive me crazy if I had to live with her!

I can't wait to get away. It goes to prove though I'm the first one to move out. Well, kinda second my brother moved in with his girlfriend but they split up and he's back home now.
I'm worried my mum ain't gonna let me take my bed lol. Her and my dad did buy it for me afterall.

So true (for the most part... I still argue with mine but nothing serious anymore!)

Pretty petty if you can't take your bed but you'll sort something if not. Don't let it worry you nor show it ;)
I'm so looking forward to it. Thanks all.
My housemates (omg check me) are all pretty cool anyway. It's going to be aweeeeeesome.
Jaye, tomorrow is G-Day (Gay-Day but D-Day in a sense ;)) for my Nan. She's going to be the first to know I'm moving out and first to know (family wise) of my sexuality.

make sure that you buy your Mum a big bunch of flowers and a card to say thanks for looking after you and all the love over the years. It is a big moment for her too.

Also, mums adore their boys..............I expect she will be round doing your washing, cleaning up for you and generally making sure your eating well! My mum does that for my brother when he moved out! I come in to work to emails saying "aw mum was tround last ngiht and gutted the bathroom and living room" - what do I get ? Nothing - I am the girl and she says need not worry about me!! Humph!
I expect when you move, she will be round 'visiting' you but really to make sure you living and eating well!!
