Sydney is probably the best place to go to in australia. Alice Springs and Cairnes were also pretty amazing.

havent been to new zealand so i dont have much to say on that, but i quite like the look of Queenstown.

LOL leather, too true - I don't know anyone else who wouldn't Google/website/read all the guide books cover to cover rather than ask the 14-16 year olds who predominate on TIBB!

(PS any white military jumbos doing handbrake turns today or is the cloud cover too low to detect?)

She/he was being sarcastic - it would be easier to find feedback/tips by researching travel sites/getting to know users there rather than asking 14-16 year olds on TIBB who could probably tell you Lady Sov's latest whereabouts better.

It is a tropical island with some limeys hanging on for dear life to the edges in small clusters. Thinks England 1975 and you wont go far wrong.

you can see things like the opera house which is crap, its just a building, so is their poxy bridge.

it is far more fun looking at what is in their supermarkets, watching their (crap) tv and wandering around non tourist areas watching them live.

if i were you I would avoid advice and experience it for yourself

If I were you, I would have a day excursion coach trip then find the place you wish to visit again by your own time.

Tango, soccer, Evita, horse, farm etc.
It depends on what your are interested in.

Caminito in La Boca, 16(8 and 8)lanes ,,,.

I'm only going as a really close net pal wants me to so she'll show me the bits I have researched. Altho I have a smattering of Deutch & Francais, my Spanish is 0. She lives in the Capital Federal area of BA. A bus journey to centre. When she's away working I'm stuffed because no english speakers in that zone.

Her brother REALLY wants to take me to see River Plate play as he knows I'm a soccer fan and he's a fanatic of RP. Another net pal wishes me to take the bus to Cordoba which I've never ever looked if things to do there. It will be a surprise in my mind. I only know Cordoba from the TV in 1978 when Peru gubbed Scotland then we drew 1-1 with Iran.

The surprise of Cordoba seems better than actually researching it or asking TIBB members "What continent is Argentina in?"

I love how nearly everyone's replied with some kind of contemptuous unhelpful nonsense about how this site isn't going to be useful - YEAH, because of timewasting and pretentious ****wits like yourselves. If you've got nothing to contribute, jog on.

Have a fun time, Ben10.

Hi Shaun - to Ben10:

What is the capital of North Korea? Can you find answer on TIBB and not using Google or any other site - c'mon I dare you.

You might have to open a book which is hurtful as it's not on your XBox either

Now you're spooking me - I'll have to ask Cecilia {BA) or Matta (Cordoba) if this place is any good!

Cecilia was a big Garbage fan when I first met her on a fileshare in 01 - she wishes to visit Livingston (Shirl from Garbage came from there)................it's a new town like Milton Keynes if that helps clarify..........she coming to Scotland but wishes to see Livingston.............great housing estates - super

What is the answer then Shawnny boy using my rules not allowed to google it anda only using TIBB or your friend's XBox?. The question is as pointless as asking for travel tips to Aus/NZ on TIBB

What is the regional capital of Sumatrra? Search that on your friend's XBox!

How do you know that absolutely nobody on TiBB has been to Australia/New Zealand before?

And the answer's Pyongyang, if I remember correctly. No idea about the Sumatra one though, sorry.

I'm sure some have - it's still not the place to find travel tips so it was a ridiculous post - how was Moscow? did you have a great time Shaun?

Shaun
27-03-2010, 03:13 AM
Can't say I've been.

Still, if it was so ridiculous then what's the point in chastising him? I find TiBB is indeed low on the list of places to search for travel tips - but it's not like he's doing any harm; replying with snide little comments, however, is.

Taking the pee is the only fun on TIBB until BB10 starts - then you can wind the 14-16 year olds about their new Lady Sov/Jonas type HM...it's not rocket science.

Not really arguing I hope - difference of opinion as to whether TIBB is a good site to be asking for travel tips

How was Las Vegas sooty? overpriced or worth the visit?
