Christian chemists will still be allowed to opt-out of selling the morning-after pill on religious grounds following guidance produced by the new regulator.

The morning-after pill can cause an early stage abortion.

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) says its revised code will allow pharmacists not to sell products which clash with their religious beliefs, in a continuation of current policy.

Disagree! No-one has the right to force their religious beliefs on others - and that is what this amounts to! What if it is the only pharmacy in a small village, miles from anywhere and a young girl, who doesn't drive, needs it urgently?

It is all about tolerance and it works both ways. My advice to the girl is find someone with a car and get driving.

Then if it is all about tolerance shouldnt the christian pharmacist stock and issue the morning after pill and tolerate the beliefs of the people who need them, or is tolerance like so many things only expected for the christians?

She would be at the police station and they would take care of this.

Not necessarily! SOme people get raped and never gop to the police about it, for one reason or another.
So hypothetically, its possible. SO what would be policy about that?

People who's religious beliefs interfere with what's legal in the particular country they live in should either move to somewhere more suitable or choose a different profession imo

Beyond ridiculous, whatever's next? The muslim woman on the cashier desks in Tesco not scanning my chicken because it's not halal meat?

The Pharmacist would tell her to report to the police station.

if it is Tescos then I doubt it will be meat at all - their chickens are made out of reconstituted liposuction fat from LA cosmetic surgeries.
