Miley Cyrus retires from singing!

Miley Cyrus has confirmed that she is planning to stop making music.

The 'Party In The USA' singer recently admitted that she has become disillusioned with the music industry.

She has now told E! News that she wants to focus more on an acting career.

"I've got a record coming out in June and then I'm done," she revealed. "I just want to work in movies. That's what I like and that's what I want to be doing."

Cyrus will appear in upcoming film The Last Song and also has a cameo in Sex And The City 2.

Its not like she was struggling as a singer. Quite the contrary, she is very successful, more than she could ever hope for. She probably genuinely wants to pursue acting, and thats where she started anyways.

I think Disney really branches all it's actors out into everything. Selena Gomez isn't even naturally a singer, but she's made to do songs for Disney movies etc. I'm not surprised, seeing as she's been moaning that she no longer wants to be told what to do anymore.

It wasn't an album, that's why :tongue:
it was an EP she made exclusively for Walmart (or Target.. I forget).
It was later released everywhere else.
'The Climb' wasn't even on the American edition!

GaGa's TFM only had 8 tracks.
I'd rather have 8 amazing tracks, than 5/6 amazing tracks, then 5/6 filler/crap tracks.

Either way, eh.. I'm fairly disappointed but she is a better actress.
