Amy Winehouse has delayed the release of her long-awaited third album. The singing star wants time to ditch all the songs complaining about ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
The award-winning singer, who is rumored to be back on with her junkie lover, wants to scrap some of the songs because they are “anti” Blake.
“Amy has written some of her best songs ever for this album but she now feels like they don’t belong,” a source told England’s Daily Star on Tuesday. “She’s not going to put out an album just because her record company wants her to, so it’s back to the drawing board.”
On a good note, bosses at Amy’s label are said to be thrilled with most of the tracks on the new album, which is the follow-up to 2006’s multiplatinum-selling Back To Black.
