I am having a discussion. Do you think LadyGaGa has the consistency to be here in 20 years time? Somebody is saying that they think she could be as good as Madonna. I just don't know. You just cannot decide that. What do you think?

She writes all her own music and has a solid fan base. Her music is consistently good, and improving with every album. ATM she is the biggest star on the planet, no-one has reached those levels of heights, and fallen so drastically

I think she needs to maintain a high level of visionary creativity; because outlandish gimmicks are keeping her famous and popular - so she needs to continue to do that.

I think she's going to do very well, yeah. Even if she does stop the singing she may still carry on doing her song writing etc.. obviously no one can be certain but she's doing well so far!

As long as she sticks to what she's good at. She may well do a Bjork and disappear up her own jacksy via over self-indulgence. She may try a different genre of music and fail.

But my guess is she will keep it commercial and keep the imagery fresh. So I think she's here for the long run. All the signs are good. She has a very enviable demograph of fans.

She's a solid, respected brand. In Pop, thats unusual.

It didn't need Beyonce. She's definitely the bridesmaid in that particular gig.

Forget acting. She seems awful at it. Her range of emotions seem very limited.

Telephone was big because she is afforded big budgets with her success. It paid off as her music shot up the charts worldwide after its release. Videos are clearly a huge part of her success.

It's a capitalisation on the two biggest female stars of the 2009-2010 period presented in a unique way. She's very good at marketing, I think, she knows what works. I think so long as she keeps that skill, she'll be around; but it's difficult to tell if she's a genius or a lunatic whose sense of style etc currently appeals to lots of people.
