I like this song, but she should've chosen Rockstar 101 or Fire Bomb, because Te Amo had leaked a few months before the album was released.

Love Rated R loads but this is 1 of my least favourites of all the tracks they could have picked! :(
But saying that, so was Rude Boy but when it became a single and I heard it more it grew and now I love that, so hopefully the same will happen with Te Amo.

I love Rockstar 101 but I think after Hard was received badly it would flop. Photographs would have been a great single but its too like Cheryl's 3 Words. Fire Bomb would be the strongest choice.

"Te Amo" was originally confirmed by many sources as the next single from Rated R. However, a few days before the American Idol performance, the label decided to change it to "Rockstar 101". Ryan Seacrest first confirmed the single's release on American Idol on April 7, 2010 when Rihanna performed the song for the first time. He also announced that tickets would be on sale for Rihanna's The Last Girl on Earth Tour from Friday April 9, 2010. Speaking to ET Online before her appearance, she said: "It's really exciting. They are now loading the audience in and everybody is so excited! It's my first time performing on 'Idol' and it's a little nerve-wracking because we're in the middle of our tour rehearsals and it's a really time-demanding experience and we just had to fit this in there.

I think it's been changed back to Te Amo. I've heard that Photographs, Rockstar 101 and Te Amo are getting a UK release so I'm really confused. Te Amo is the only one I've heard on my local radio station and on Radio 1 though so I assume Te Amo is the next UK single.

Everyone's saying different things, it's confusing. :laugh: I think it might be like Hard/Rude Boy where Hard was only released to the US - same for Rockstar 101 because she's only performed it on AI so far but I don't know for certain. I've heard Te Amo three times in total on the radio in last week though, twice today on my local radio station and then again the other day on Radio 1. Doesn't really bother me, both are good single choices. Te Amo just edges Rockstar 101.
