If it's noticeably **** after a few questions then I wait a few seconds extra until I restart the clock after every question.

It doesn't really matter now though, seeing as we're in the final, I don't need a clock as it's whoever answers correctly first that wins, and that to make it to the final you'll have a pretty good connection anyway.
