Although the school should not have called the police - ridiculous in the extreme - I do think kids should be a bit more respectful of school property - I'm sure they would not write on the furniture at home, and the parents would be none too happy if they did!

I think that was way too far.
It was an erasable marker.

Its not so much the school overreacting, its the police, arresting handcuffing and detaining.
I hope she asked for a deferment on the punishment of the essay on lessons learnt until after her litigation is settled, it should be an amusing essay then if they get the award they are seeking.

I wish you'd copy and paste the article WOMBAI rather than just a title, a link and your opinion
But that whole situation is stupid, everyone is over reacting

Lots of people post links - tell them as well! And besides there is no written rule about such things - people can post any way they like - it is the content that counts!
I always have plenty to say - so don't see how I can be accused of being lazy!

And some people may have really slow computers, opening all these other tabs can really hurt the computer

Patrick I'm sorry but who the hell are you ? An executive from the forum police ? Having an inferior thing issue ? I might not always be in good terms with WOMBAI but you've got to shut up on this one.

I can see your point - as I used to have an old computer that often crashed when I opened other links - but as long as so many others are using links - don't see why I should be bothered with cutting and pasting!
Besides Patrick who makes such criticisms always posts videos - and old machines can have just as many problems with them!
Lmfao! That's pathetic.. i draw on the desks all the time!

How nice of you to be so considerate, but you sort of destroy your own argument every post you make carries an animated signature, those hurt older slower computers more than opening a link.

I agree with Shasown - I think animated sigs cause more problems than opening links!
As for Patrick - bearing in mind his use of video links and large sigs - he really is in no position to be criticising others!

I can't think what is more stupid. The arrest or the $1m lawsuit.
