Since my laptop is down at the moment I'll be wanting to charge up my iPod at some point and don't want to sync a completely different library to it. The iTunes on my PC account has no music. Would the iPod at all give me the opportunity to move all of its files onto my iTunes?
I have a feeling it wouldn't.
iTunes will only transfer purchases from the iTunes Store. However, it is possible to transfer the music on your iPod to a computer with third-party programs.
I'll have a look for one for you :)
EDIT: Try YamiPod: http://www.yamipod.com/

Yeah there are loads of safe programs for transferring files from an iPod to a computer, my friend uses it to take music of my iPod. Have a google. Alternatively your iPod will charge without syncing at all?

download iDump, it allows you to transfer songs from your iPod to the computer/laptop.

Yeah I was just gonna charge it without the PC logged onto a user account - but depending on how long I go without a laptop I'd like to listen to music on here

it's because you don't have enough Christina Aguilera music on it, iTuens won't play without a certain amount.

Note to Shaun: Always wait for your technical advisor and/or nerdy friend to get online before using these half-arsed programs.
