Do you do seasonal forecasting? If so, any chance of one for the summer? I'd like to compare it to the Positive Weather Solutions one. Oh, and specifically the Isle of Wight if you could. Cheers.

Nice idea for a thread by the way.

I don't officially do seasonal forecasting but i do make them and see if i'm correct, i might start offically doing them soon.

Early indications however for Summer however are for about average conditions, maybe a heat wave late July/August but not a scorching summer like some are suggesting but not a washout either.

Cloudy and very mild tomorrow with the occasional glimpse of sunshine, becoming brighter on Sunday but feeling slightly cooler than Saturday with the risk some spotty light rain in the afternoon. Looking ahead to the new week, mostly dull with occasional light rain and drizzle and feeling much cooler than of late

they should really do weather forecasts on something everyone can see rather than on a Big Brother forum. like, after the news or something.

oh wait.

It's been lovely today. Apparently tomorrow might be our hottest day this year at 16 degrees :D Cloudy though I think but at least it saves wearing 16 layers (OK maybe 2 or 3)

shutup shaun, no-one complains about your stupid gameshows or whatever it is that you do.......

that'd be because there's participation involved from other forum users and isn't something already covered by a huge government-fed body? :laugh2:

actually, what gameshows? Room 101? The one that's had loads of responses and people taking part? Or Top10s? The one on about 60 pages? I mean, from every angle, that insult fails. Bit like your site, really.

I know I don't speak for everyone here but what's the actual point? I hate talking about the weather for starters - it's something people do as phatic talk - that is to say, small-talk - if at all. It's devoid of passion, opinion, creativity... and this thread; what is there to talk about? How shallow and self-obsessed do you have to be to think that talking about the weather in such a small and isolated place as the one that you, and most likely only you on this forum, can experience?

Talking about the past weather is utterly pointless because noone else on this site experienced it, and talking about the future weather entirely pointless because it's unpredictable at most.

Fair enough, talk about your beliefs, your tastes, but your ****ing weather? My God.

Looks to be a nice day across the country today, top temperatures creeping up toward the 20c mark in some southern areas, otherwise widely around 16-18c, but cloud will increase from the east later this afternoon marking a change in the upcoming weather.

why is it lately that every thread that anyone starts turns into arguements, if you're not interested in the topic, post elsewhere. SIMPLE. I'm not interested in alot of the topics that come up on this forum but you don't see me barging in going "what a load of crap, why do you want to talk about this".

I think you'll find there are plenty of threads on this forum that there are no need for, but yet they are here, but i don't go round tell then thread openers that they shouldn't be there, so i don't quite know who you think you are to say that.

If you're not interested. GO AWAY.

Another half decent day today, best in the west as high pressure moving away to the Northeast will encourage an easterly airflow with cloud increasing in the east and a cool wind, it should remain sunny in the west until the evening where cloud will begin to move in from the east. Temeperatures down a peg or two on yesterdays values reaching around 17/18c in the west and 15/16c in the east.

And ignore some of the people in this thread. Weather is a crucial part of all of our lives and who really cares if it's publicly available? I enjoy reading weather forecasts myself and weather forecasting isn't easy either, so your work is appreciated. Your site isn't **** either.
