Vengaboys - Rocket to Uranus

"Lady Gaga, Pete Burns and Perez Hilton make cameos in Vengaboys’ new music video that’s been hyped as their “gayest music video ever.”

The group confirmed a UK release of the first single off their new “Rocket to Uranus” scheduled for May on their revamped Web site today. “Release dates for other countries aren’t set in stone yet,” they say, “but it’s gonna be available worldwide for sure.” Included on the Web site was a hidden photo montage page that featured Lady Gaga, Perez Hilton and a hint that a verse from an ABBA song was sampled.

Pete Burns has already been confirmed as making an appearance in their anticipated 3-D video, directed by Andy Shop. Behind-the-scenes images of the Dead or Alive ****** beauty channeling Cher made its way to the interwebs in February.

Here’s a cryptic message from the official Vengaboys Web site:

We’ve had a great time shooting the video in studios in London and LA and it’s our best video ever. To give you a small hint: After seeing it, you’ll probably be satisfied in all possible dimensions.
Another hint: We’re not alone on this one.
There is a head exploding cameo performance in the video by a UK #1 and US top 10 recording artist.

Aaaaaand:
Joining us in the song as well as the video is the world’s most notorious (and we think loveable) media personality.

I feel love has been sampled so many times. Although not quite on this scale. :shocked: It's quite nice in a way that songs are revived through one form or another, although nothing will ever beat the original. "feels a need to listen to Donna Summer and The Sugar Hill Gang for some unknown reason?

I have just watched the video and it was a good video quite cheesy which they are known for. Pete Burns really needs to make music videos of his own though, Needs a new album out.

Aqua's comeback single was far better though.
