Giant spaceships appear over 29 major cities throughout the world, and Anna (Morena Baccarin), the beautiful and charismatic leader of the extra-terrestrial "Visitors", claims to come in peace. As a small number of humans begin to doubt the sincerity of the seemingly benevolent Visitors, FBI counter-terrorism agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating human governments, businesses, and religious institutions and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the Earth. Erica joins the resistance movement, which includes Ryan (Morris Chestnut), a Visitor sleeper agent who wants to save humanity. The Visitors have won favor among the people of Earth by curing a variety of diseases, and have recruited Earth's youth — including Erica's son Tyler (Logan Huffman) — to serve them unknowingly as spies

I have a soft spot for the original, seeing as I grew up with it. Pretty cheesy but had some good themes running through it and it'll be interesting to see how they update them.

I watch them on my computer but it's HD format. :hugesmile: V is very well made, graphics wise and the whole story behind. Plus, it has Juliet from Lost :hugesmile: She's hot.

nbc's "chuck" and abc's "v" will get renewed for next season.

Both warner bros. Shows were on the bubble for a pickup due to borderline ratings, but sources say the shows will be back next season on their respective networks.

Though modestly rated, "chuck" has been nbc's steadiest show on monday nights after "heroes" sank in the nielsens. While abc's "v" was a steady performer on tuesdays after "lost" since it returned from hiatus and its most recent episode climbed slightly in the numbers. Both shows are expected to receive 13-episode orders.

Nbc's "heroes" and abc's other sci-fi freshman drama "flashforward" continue to be in question, however, with the former possibly receiving a short-season order and the latter very unlikely to return.
