Messi.....reason becuase he's Messi....

I agree but i think for how many goals hes scored in how many games Ronaldo has been excellent to!!

Luis Suarez... although only the dutch league (and playing for the best team)
Is only 23 and scored 33 goals in the league.. 17 in cup/ euro games.

That is amazing.. 1.1 goals a game.

Hes wanted by Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Real, Barca, Juve and Inter to my knowledge.. at some point or another..

Messi for sure. It would probably be easier to count up the games he hasn't scored in for Barca this season there's so few, what a player.

I think people are overlooking ronaldo a bit..

Hes got better goals to games ratio than messi.

although people have said otherwise.. he has been on amazing form..
Its a shame he got injured missed just over a month of the season.

Luis Suarez has done amazing.

But i guess id have to agree messi looks like the superpower right now.

Boyd let himself down at the end of the season before Christmas though it would have been him for me easily..

Bent doesn't get enough recognition, particularly when he's been playing with a team that's really struggled for any type of consistency and yet he continues to score at will. And don't forget, he's scored against alot of the big boys.

25 goals and 15 assists in 48 apps for lampard.

Yet another season where hes been over looked.

Sorry but he last season was the best midfielder (bar ronaldo) and no one said anything, got more goals and assists than gerrard.

I suppose if you think about it though alot of them are penalties, forgot about that. Still an awesome and slightly underated player compared to others, if you get what I mean

He doesn't score enough against the strong sides though, unless it's a penalty or something. Quite a number of goals from him come when Chelsea hockey a team.

Yes but hes seriously talented he helps his team so so much..

In terms of goals and assists, no midfielder has come close bar fabregas..

Yeah, that's true, but you must remember that alot of that is due to way Chelsea play and the formation that they usually go out with. If you were asking me who I think has been there player of the season I would go with Malouda.

Malouda on current form yes.

Malouda for the first 15 games.. not at all.

He done it last season to, done amazing at the end of the season but didnt get kick started til half way thru

Yeah, that's true, but he's been crucial since Xmas or so and his strength is so important to that team.

They missed Essien i think.

I consider him one of the best in the world.

Contained messi at the camp nou and stamford bridge last year.

Essien is class but I worry about him now. Far too injury prone.

And he wasn't the same player last time I saw him.

Dont understand why people have been so down on ronaldo, if he hadnt been injured this done as well as messi..

Rooney or Tevez for me.

Messi best player but scoring in EPL is much harder than La Liga IMO.
