Derek Laud is teaming up ex tory health minister Edwina Curry on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. They hope to raise cash for the National Children's Home and the DogsTrust. The Saturday celeb specials are on ITV1 on September 17 and 24.

Lets hope they do not end up with egg on their faces......

Oh dear. He'll have to make a considerable step-up from his constant mispronunciations, use of words in the wrong context, misquotes of Shakespeare and the need for clues just to answer the stunningly obvious, then. At least they'll be able to take advantage of their 'phone a friend' option - if they can find any that aren't otherwise engaged with an amyl nitrate-laced orange, of course. Still, as it's for charity, it would actually be nice to see both of them succeed for once.
