I've gone in an caravan once, I hated it. When I was little we used to go to the Haven parks as well but those aren't really proper caravans.

I'd never go camping properly, Nature doesn't agree with me so we can only meet up very occasionally for the odd drink and a natter.

Absolutely love going camping although haven't done it much of late. But yeah, I don't just camp - I hill walk. So much more fun because then you're tired and relaxed when you finally settle down for some grub and fun. But yeah, must do it soon, especially since there are so many scenic areas around where I live which are very accessible.

Yeah I have spent the odd night out under the stars.

Am ****ing done with that sort of **** now, i use hotels, hostels, etc. Any fool can be uncomfortable.

Double air mattress, comfy rumpy pumpy out in the wilds. if you take a car take a tyre inflator that runs of the car to inflate it, they are a burger to inflate manually.

Or if going low tech give it another few weeks and use bracken under your groundsheet, lots and lots of bracken.

Yer I like camping but these days tend to have a car piled with luxuries ie airbeds, duvet, stove, table, chairs...am gettin on...camping must is a fire and plenty booZe so you dont notice the cold

Went twice on Bronze D of E excertion and practise, the camping bit is fun but all the walking was awful lmfao.

Havnt even got the reward yet because I cant think of a skill to do! Done my physical recreation and Service though. :(
