Do you ever get them? How often?

I get them quite a bit.. they're good and you often win a bit of money.. won £20 yesterday!

In my local shop I get my mum to get them for me as they know I'm not 16.. but everywhere else I can get them myself..

I find scratch-cards to be exploitative and the bane of people down-on-their-luck. I HATE THAT THEY RIP MONEY OUT OF FOLK FOR THESE.

My reason..........I live in a high unemployment area with multiple deprivation. The queue of people buying scratchcards with the little money they have is saddening in the shops. I realise they're doing it in the unrealistic hope they'll win a substantial amount and so instantly fix their debt mountain/take them out of the hopelessness in which they are living.

What will the scratch-card profits be used for? Probably a 'good cause' like commissioning a new opera in Celebration of the 2012 Olympics.

Reverse 'taxation' in action - the poor paying for the affluents' leisure pursuits.

GRRRRRRRRR - MAD
