Hi All,

I decided to email channel 4 yesterday and see if they would release any forthcoming info about BB11, they of course didn't but didn't shoot down that it could launch in May so who knows.

Thank you for contacting Channel 4 Viewer Enquiries regarding BIG BROTHER 11.

We are delighted to hear that you are excited about BIG BROTHER 11. We have no dates scheduled for the new series, however the series usually starts around the start of the summer towards the end of May or into the beginning of June, we will heavily advertise the programme prior to its launch. Please keep an eye on the website for more info over the coming weeks.

You can view the dedicated site for Big Brother at

Generic response template copy and pasted with the series number modified. If you want a proper answer your best off contacting someone specific.

Doesn't BGT end a week later this year? Can't see them launching second week of June if the promotional shoots are already in the can.

"Heavily advertise" I dont think they have ever said that before, but lets not expect anything big. It is C4 after all.

Yes, they can't just keep pushing back their own schedules because of Cowell (and X Factor is waiting at the other end of summer).

blimey i didn't realise that then yes may launch would be more likely they gonna have tough year this year ratings wise then what with Britain's got talent, the apprentice. think as a previous poster said they gonna have to advertise heavily and promote it really well.:)
