George Lamb
Big Brother’s Little Brother presenter George Lamb has said he will shed a tear when the final series of the iconic reality show ends this summer. Seeming to confirm that he’ll be back to host the E4 Spin off for a third year, Lamb said the show has been a huge part of British summers.
“It’s been part of the fabric of our summer now for more than ten years,” George said.
He added: “We want everyone to go away from the last Celebrity Big Brother run and from the summer series going ‘Wow, what a way to end it!’”
George Lamb took over hosting the spin off in May 2008 from now X Factor host Dermot O’Leary. He was originally joined by co-host Zezi Ifore who left the show after only the one series following viewer complaints about her presenting.
Lamb recently revealed one his favourites part about fronting the show was its live aspect, saying: “It’s up to the minute – there’s no point in us coming on and banging on about what went on in the house yesterday – it’s got to be absolutely up to the minute and reflect what’s happening as we speak.”
The final series of Big Brother is expected to launch in early June.
