So your in year 12 just stared
Tommorow i have,
Double History
Double Applied Business
Double Psychology
However, Psychology seems quite interesting - i dont know about History or Applied Business yet as i havent had them yet. (We only had French and Psychology today)
And this stupid old hag who happens to be my french teacher gave us the delightful news on our 1st lesson - (in a french acccent) "Unfortuanately, you have chosen the hardest AS Level"
Woop dee doo daa

Listen sol - tips for survival when you don't know anyone:
Don't try too hard. Just looked chilled and happy. People will think you are sorted and pretty cool, and start getting curious. Then they make the first move. Make eye contact but don't look desperate or stare!!
As for the subjects:
Business is prob the most useful but also prob the most boring!
History - absolutely brilliant, love it!
Psychology - have done this at degree and masters level. It's just about common sense, remembering who did studies proving the common sense and then disagreeing with yourself (Gestalt theory!) Doddle!
I bet you'll end up loving it. 6th form is hard work, but it's worth it. It's actually harder than first year uni.
Hope you'll feel better about it really soon - and we're here if youwant to chat. xx:thumbs:
cheers R.O.B. thanks for the tips :xyxwave:
its just hard when you know noone and everyone else is talking about everything you dont know about
but yer im suer ill get into the swing of things
Yep I do business and it can be quite boring, just concentrate on the coursework as that makes up most of your marks as there is usually only one exam and I always find exam's easier than coursework. Just get as much support with coursework from the teacher and you will be fine.
Have you spoken to many people yet?
Yer i have but i hate making new friends, put it this way im not a natural!
The furthest ive got into a conversation with someone is
"where did you come from"
"Oh i know someone from there"
"do you know so & so"
Try talking about footie with someone or a tv show, that's how I usually start chatting and making friends.
yer i would do but i dont know what they're into
id probably end up scaring them off lol
good idea though BB fernzy :bouncy:

ill probs be better tomorrow though
